There have been an increasing number of sightings of birds upland in late spring. If they are mixing in with breeding Great Blue Herons their nests may go unseen because the Great Blue Heron nests are rarely found. There are so many late spring and early summer sightings of Great Blues that they must be nesting in more places than we know about.
