Along the C&O towpath north of Harper's Ferry Orioles of both species, and Warbling Vireos, were seen and heard. Heard-only were a couple of Yellow-throated Warblers and a single N. Parula. But probably the surprise of the day were two LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSH, pretty unconcerned about us, just off the towpath.
