It is not unusual for some to remain in the bay throughout the summer. Talbot and Queen Anne's counties usually get them. The bird appeared to be in good health and not stressed. Plumage was crisp and bright. Does anyone know if non-breeders will remain on the wintering grounds or could this be an early migrant?
