We had 1 flyby Eagle's Nest Campground and 10 flying south past the inlet. Other highlights were: Gull-billed Tern - an immature (no head markings) at Truitt's Landing - seen with Dave Powell also Sandwich Tern - 1 non-breeding at Eagle's Nest, 2 breeding adults 1 non-breeding at Skimmer Island - 1 of the breeding adults carried food repeatedly into the Royal Tern colony, but never gave it to young. It seemed that the Royals would harass the bird before it had a chance to settle into the flock. Wilson's Storm-Petrel - 1 feeding inside the Inlet during a brief rain shower Piping Plover - 12 at Eagle's Nest Short-billed Dowitcher was the most widespread migrant shorebird of the day.
