Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed Hi Paul, There is only one dirt field just out of Hurlock going east on Rt. 392, it is on the left side or north side of the road, the birds were feeding to the left of the damp areas in the field. There were probably 50+ Horned Larks in the vicinity, as well as Semi Plovers, Semi Sandpipers, Killdeer, and Least Sandpipers. One bird showed a noticeable rusty nape, there wasn't any more rust on the bird, blackish bib that may have extended further down but the bird flew, two white wing bars, extensive amount white in tail feathers in flight. The other three birds were very plain buffy tones, one showed darker across the chest while the other two had makings on the chest but the markings were lighter sandy tones. white eye rings, with more white just up and behind the eye. no rust, although with wings folded primaries were darker, tails were short with extensive white showing while turning in flight. all had white throats, malars, and spot towards the back of the auriculars. Hope this helps.
