I got very close views of this bird while it was low in one of the small, scrub trees on the east side of the pond. Also present was a calling Yellow-billed Cuckoo. Yesterday, there was a pair of Cuckoos calling. A swirling flock of at least 40 Chimney Swifts swarmed high over the pond, and the White Eyed Vireos seemed especially vocal this morning at various locations around the pond.
