The CAPS really makes it easy to quickly scan your worthy contributions, and I, for one, find a whole lot more references to good birds of which I would like to know more when sightings are written about this way. So a tip of the hat, Bonnie, to you. Thanks. Rich Dolesh Aquasco, Md ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bonnie Ott" Returned from vacation just in time to see a dozen LAUGHING GULLS fly over (last Sunday). Today was my first opportunity to get out birding and it was highly productive. Hit my atlas block and confirmed a pair of BLUE GROSBEAKS feeding 2 fledglings. A couple of flyover GREAT EGRETS, an early NORTHERN HARRIER. 40 BOBOLINKS and 8 HORNED LARKS. I'll be searching very hard this next week or so for the other lark- as in lark sparrow. I have it on good authority late august is the prime time to look. A then of course September! (just a warm up for October).
