Migrants started dropping in at about 7:30 AM, very excited, as they usually are. They milled around for about an hour, then were gone. The highlight was a Lawrence's Warbler, probably a female. It had a yellow breast and belly with white undertail coverts. The crown and wing bars were yellow and the supercillium and malar were white, with a weak gray bib and auriculars. Other migrants included a Yellow-throated and 2-3 Red-eyed Vireos, at least 2 Baltimore Orioles, 3 Empids, of which 1-2 were Traill's types with very weak eyerings, and the following warblers: 2 Chestnut-sided, 2 Magnolia, 1 Bay-breasted, 2 Black&White, 1 Canada, 2 Redstarts and a Yellowthroat. I also heard Eastern Pewee and Wood Thrush. Paul O'Brien Rockville, Mont.
