GS BUMED" Subject: Snake ID MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Jason - More than likely the snake in question was a Northern Black Racer, a species commonly found along the C&O towpath. Coincidentally, I found one on my front lawn two days ago and my daughter, in total shock, rediscovered the critter in the garage yesterday. The snake was promptly relocated to the grounds of a local nature park. It was a bit over 2 feet long--longer than the copperhead, but thinner. I don't know all my snake species--anyone know what this was?...
