I fished from Swan Point (Kent County) to Thomas Point (Anne Arundel County) with very little to speak of as far as fish go. Birding wasnt that great either and to top it off the hellacious seas tore my poor little boat up!!! I limped into Rock Hall (Kent County) and had to call for someone to drive down to pick me up (my transom split and I nearly lost my engine off the back). About the birds: I saw 8 Black Terns in molt in Kent, Baltimore, Harford, and Anne Arundel County Waters. Forster's Terns were plentiful through out the bay as were Purple Martins and Barn Swallows. I saw a few Caspian Terns and Common Terns mostly in Kent County as well as a pair of Green Herons at Rock Hall. The most interesting observation was of 3 hummingbirds that were flying east to west over the moiddle of the bay. Migrating no doubt. The hummers were at least 7 to 10 miles from the nearest land.
