GS BUMED" Subject: Connecticut Warbler MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" The three participants in today's Montgomery Bird Club Tridelphia Field Trip lucked out with an adult CONNECTICUT WARBLER, a life bird for two of us. We found the bird sitting on a low branch along the trail that parallels the Patuxent River. An Ovenbird was also observed on the same trail. Plenty of migrant activity along Tridelphia Lake Road to include- Warblers: Black-and-White, Black-throated Blue, Black-throated Green, Blackburnian, Chestnut-sided, Magnolia, Northern Parula, American Redstart, Common Yellowthroat. Other migrants included: Red-eyed Vireo, Baltimore Oriole & Eastern Wood-Pewee. An adult Broad-winged Hawk gave us great looks as it soared low overhead. An 11-warbler, beautiful weather morning was hard to beat!
