Occasional flicker, a phoebe and a blue-gray gnatcatcher. Then we hit a small mixed flock, mostly unidentified, redstart, bg gnatcatcher with chickadees and titmice AND a young BLACK-BILLED CUCKOO. The smaller birds moved on while the cuckoo continued to feed and gave us very nice looks. The bird was seen on the east end of Minebank Run, in the clump of trees just east of the "log" house. Sure improved my frame of mind!!!
