However I have made a few interesting notes lately. While out covering test sites I have noticed that the migration is definatly in full swing. Broad-wings and Harriers have been seen in the past few days. A Great Egret was also seen flying east two days ago. Tonight I relocated the LARGE cowbird flock as it was actively feeding in the grassy fields near the fire house. This is the third time I have seen it I estimate the size of the flock to be between 500 and 750. It has been different everytime I have seen it. Also tonight there were a number of Killdeers flying around the Air base.
