I'm thinking you are right. It's hanging out at my feeder so I've been studying it. It's a very light bird. The under tail coverts are white, not gray. There is a black stripe, very thin, on the outer converts (up high) but it's not as distinctive as the Eurasion's black ban. I think it is a turtle dove.
