We are located in the Elk Neck State Park on the Elk Neck Peninsula. Our season this year began on 9/6 and through 9/14 we have tallied 258 raptors in 31 count hours as follows: Turkey Vulture: 28, Osprey: 14, Bald Eagle:33, Northern Harrier:1, Sharp-shinned:106, Coopers Hawk:3, Broad-winged:10, Red-tailed:15, Kestrel:8, Merlin:3, Peregrine:1 and unidentified:36 We are always interested in having visitors and those interested in assisting with the count.
