Nothing at Hurlock of interest at 3:30pm. Got to Blackwalnut at 4:40pm and within the first 5 mins I had an intermediate juv. Long-tailed Jaeger fly by within 250 ft! After that I estimated ~300 Terns (surely mostly Commons, but too far to tell more than that they were white) flying s. out of the Bay, 4 Caspian, just 3 Royal, 2 Black Terns, and 4 Pelicans. I left there at 6:20pm to head back to Philly. Also, on the way out to Tilghman's, in the the dirt field on the left with the white fence along rt. 33 (just after Punch Point Road) I saw the following shorebirds: 25 Killdeer 20 Semi Plovers 6 Semi Sandpipers 3 Least Sandpipers 3 White-rumped Sandpipers I only gave these birds a cursory look as I was anxious to get to the Bay so surely I missed some things there. All the best, -George George L. Armistead Philadelphia, PA georgearmistead@hotmail.com _________________________________________________________________ Frustrated with dial-up?
