Many terns were present, primarily Forster's, but also = Common (some riding on driftwood), Caspian & Royal. Very distant = suspects were interesting, but unidentifiable. Other species included = 1 Brown Pelican heading north and a Merlin beating its way southward. In late afternoon, a scan near Sandy Point State Park provided us with = views of a Black Skimmer heading south, martins, swifts, and an = incredible tide line well offshore that included at least a half-dozen = docks/piers and lots of floating wood & "stuff".
