Terrapin Park on Saturday yielded many Magnolia Warblers, Redstarts, a few Black and Whites and Parulas, and a single Chestnut-sided and Black-throated Green. Common Yellowthroats lived up to their name, and numerous Red-eyed Vireos were present. Wood Thrush, Veery, and a single Swainson's Thrush were feeding on the wild grapes. Nothing of interest to be seen Bayside, but the Pickerel Frogs were in a mating frenzy! Sunday's jaunt to Tighlman was very fruitless, but a stop at a plowed field just south of the community of Sherwood did yield an American Golden Plover among the usual gulls and Killdeer. And, there were enough Horned Larks to allow me to call them an Exultation!
