The blue coloration on the breast, belly and rump was truly brilliant. It's forehead and chin was white; fine black and white bars covered the check, neck, nape and back. It vocalized periodically while flying from a low perch to the ground, where it was feeding on the seeds of the grasses. I contacted a Baltimore breeder, and he is going to alert Wild Bird Rescue.
