I rushed out Monday expecting big things: the front, the drop in temp, the NW winds, but it was not to be! 4 and 1/2 hrs netted 24 raptors: TV-4, BE-2 ( plus 7 locals playing), SS-7, CH-1, BW-4, RT-2, AK-3 and most fitting for my last bird of the day at 1300, an adult Peregrine Falcon, that came through low for a great look. We also had a nice Red-headed Woodpecker fly through. Jimmy and Charlie Gant were out for a bit, and I had company from Jim and Lynne from Cecil County. Oh, and Billie, my hawk watching dog!
