I managed to locate 45 = species. The best bird was a juvenile RED-HEADED WOODPECKER flying west = over the meadow off Elbon Rd. Warblers were: 4 Tennessee, 4 Magnolia, 1 = Black-throated Blue, 9 Black-throated Green, 1 Bay-breasted, and 4 = yellowthroats. Vireos: 2 White-eyed, 8 Red-eyed. There were four = Swainson's Thrushes eating Va. Creeper (there, I managed a reference to = the Commonwealth), and Poison Ivy berries in the woods near the landing. = There was also a bit of hawk migration with single kestrel and sharpie = and a kettle of 25 Broad-wings way up in the blue. It appears the birds = didn't arrive with this Canadian Shield high until after the wind died = down.
