I heard the distinctive call note of a Dickcissel headed south. The bird called repeatedly as it flew over. It was low enough for me to see naked eye (without my glasses) and probably could have been visually IDed if I had my binoculars. This is only the second migrant Dickcissel flyover I've had off Assateague.
