While I had I lashed down to a = storage rack, Isabel washed it away. While tromping through the = wetlands and woods, two flurries of activity got my attention. In with several Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, I found an immature Mourning = Warbler. Some fussing Mockingbirds led me to a relatively dark Great = Horned Owl. This woodlot is only an acre in area, and is surrounded on = two side by water, and the other two side are residential area. It = surprised me to find one with such a small area for roosting. However, = there are lots of rabbits in the areas, so it has good food sources. And, I found the canoe, pretty much intact. The community dock and = boardwalk through the wetlands didn't fare so well.
