Other interesting birds in the area between 3:30 and 4:00 were: E. Phoebe - 3-4 E. Bluebirds - 5 Pine Warblers - 3-4 Blue Grosbeak - 1 female An earlier walk on the Little Patuxent River Trail yielded: Pileated Woodpecker - 1 (heard) Yellow-billed Cuckoo - 1 Swainson's Thrush - 1 Black and White Warbler - 1 female Note the hours at Patuxent North Tract for October are 8:00 am to 6:30 pm until Standard Time kicks in, when closing goes to 4:30 pm. Hunting is on-going, except Sundays. All visitors are required to check in at the Visitor Contact Stations.
