The Kentish Plovers will be in their = 17 ft diameter circle for as long as they can stand it on 12 Oct. The = location will be the parking lot at the south end of the bridge across = Eastern Neck Narrows to Eastern Neck Island. We had 56 species last = year. The location is a good spot for watching diurnal migrants cross = from Eastern Neck to the Island including raptors and jays, there is a = steady transit of fish-eating birds and waterfowl through the Narrows, = and, if the tide cooperates, there is often a productive little mudflat = visible from the circle. We hope to break the 60 species barrier this = year, please come and help us do even better than that.=20 Good Birding,=20 Walter Ellison & Nancy Martin 23460 Clarissa Road Chestertown, MD 21620 phone: 410-778-9568 e-mail: rossgull@crosslink.net "A person who is looking for something doesn't travel very fast" - E.
