They were singing the typical Song Sparrow song this morning, but quite differently from our local birds. The phrases were uttered more deliberately, deeper in pitch and richer in tone. It was as if, after listening to a talk by a bunch of DC feds, the presentation was given again by a troop of Shakespearean actors. I didn't get a good look at the birds to see if they differed in other ways from our locals.
