Instead we found a Yellow-bellied Flycatcher. The bird had distinctly yellow sides, a complete eye ring, 2 yellow-orangish wing bars and wing edges behind the wing bars. It also had a pale yellow throat. It appeared short tailed and large headed. We watched it for about 10 minutes from close range.
