Birded off and on with Jim Stasz, the Saunders and another couple, till 12:45. Good mix of migrants (though no flight), but neither of the rarities from yesterday. A second hand report that the Saunders did see the Western Tanager (in the area east of the parking lot at the end). One pewee in the area were Jim had his bird yesterday called once like an Eastern and matched it in plumage ... for what that's worth. But it was not hanging around -- Jim's bird wasn't either. Based on the extent of black on the underside of the lower mandibule, different birds. Really nice sparrow flock around the grassy mounds near the maintenance yard, 2 Clay-colors, 1 Lark, Field, Song, Chippy. Lots of nice photos. Jim had all these yesterday as well.
