Before Arriving at the Hwak Watch I spent an hour looking through the trees. There were quite a few passers feeding in the Oaks and Paw-paws. Songbirds seen included: approx. 10,000 Blue Jays (large flocks in migration -some were very high up) Blackburnian Warbler Black-throated Green Warbler Blackpoll Warbler Cape May Warbler Palm Warbler Magnolia Warbler Yellow-rumped Warbler Golden-crowned Kinglet White-throated Sparrow Red-eyed Vireo Grey Catbird Also 6 Woodpecker Species -missing only Hairy! (2 Red-headed Woodpeckers!!)
