Pat Valdata was quite busy in her 4 1/2 hrs this AM trying to count kettles of birds that could not make up their minds to cross water, including a late kettle of 32 Broad-winged. She was fortunate to enjoy the presence of 2 perched falcons, a Merlin and a Peregrine, in snags close to the hawk watch. Dang, just wish we had enough counters to cover our afternoons!
