A separate report to Jan, by watermen at Tilghman Island, said that five White Pelican had been seen on Friday, Oct 10th, passing fairly low above the water of Knapps Narrows (the waterway that separates Tilghman Island from the Talbot County mainland). These watermen make no claim to being birders, but the presence of the White Pelicans had made quite an impression them.
