This is a new location for us and we wanted to see the = property which is at the southern tip of the county. It was pretty = interesting, with lots of trails and wetlands, and has good potential = for future good bird reports. I expect that this location could someday = provide a Purple Gallinule or Brown-headed Nuthatch respite. We had a pretty slow day but had some good sightings. Highlights were: Canada Goose Wood Duck - ~30 Mallards Bald Eagle=20 Cooper's Hawk Red-shouldered Hawk Greater Yellowlegs - one calling flying over Yellow-billed Cuckoo - one very quiet bird Barred Owl - I had a nice visit with the single bird after we exchanged = a few notes of conversation. Downy Woodpecker Hairy Woodpecker Red-bellied Woodpecker Northern Flicker Pileated Woodpecker We had Yellow-bellied Sapsucker at the house when we arrived home, and = only missed Red-headed Woodpecker for the day. Many of the larger trees = along Rt. 224 where Red-headed are usually were taken down during = Isabel's visit. I will be interested to see how the population fared. = We stopped at one location but could not confirm any birds in a 15 = minute visit. Eastern Phoebe Red-breasted Nuthatch - maybe two separate individuals Both Ruby-crowned and Golden-crowned Kinglet - more Ruby-crowned Brown Thrasher Cedar Waxwings - two small flocks Lots of Myrtle Warblers - ~ 50=20 White-throated Sparrow Song Sparrow A place to get back to with the potential it has to offer. Cheers George =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D =========================================================================
