Or is retirement planned to be 100 percent birding? Those northward-bound late Barn Swallows - maybe they are retired, and looking for something unusual to do. I understand that when Bob Ringler retires, he is going to be doing more breeding bird atlasing. But that only covers about 5 months of the year. I suggested he start leading a Listers' Week at the ocean in October. I don't think he wrote that down (to remember it). About # 28 & 29 - I don't mean to brag, but I can't remember the last time I had a senior moment! (Seriously, you know the Brits consider the crow family the most highly developed, so they often list them last.) Bill Ellis Eldersburg -----Original Message----- From: George M. A senior moment. A post script - Working home on October 22, I had three Barn Swallows flying north into the wind. I think this is pretty late for this species. ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
