Complete site information is available at www.udel.edu/cecilbirds Please contact me at gonbrdn@dol.net if interested in doing some counting in November. We are still waiting for our first really good buteo flight....... On 10/22 in 4 hrs 21 raptors came through: BV-1, TV-6, BE-4, SS-5, CH-1, RT-1, AK-1, ME-1 On 10/23 we had 100+ birds but do not have exact numbers yet. When I arrived at 11:30 to encounter a frozen blue-lipped Candi Lee, she had had 77 up to that point, mainly sharpies. I calmly announced that I had locked my keys in the car in parking lot but would stay and count anyways and call AAA when I was getting ready to leave. Well, the park manager came out to check on me at 1400 as I was calling them and I was cold and I did gladly take a ride back to the park office to wait for AAA! I think he thinks we are crazy. 10/24, perfect conditions and the gang still waits for the big flight, but not happening, 46 counted during the AM: BE-1, AK-1, RT-7, NH-2, SS-8, CH-4, PG-1, UR-4, TV-13, RS-5 Leslie Fisher Count Coordinator ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
