This is a dredge-spoil island a few miles off the Eastern Shore in the Bay, just west of Tilghman Island. I saw the pelicans from the perimeter road while on a bus tour organized by the MD Environmental Service. The pelicans were foraging in a group in shallow water, fishing with bills in the water as they swam forward together. I also saw 5 Pectoral Sandpipers, 6 Sanderling and a mix of 20 or so Lesser and Greater Yello ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
