Numbers are variable in winter and usually don't start to build up until later in November or even December. Today I went to Diamond Point Rd. in Eastern Baltimore County looking for gulls and found everything but interesting gulls. Gulls were Ring-Bill (perhaps 200), Herring (3), and Greater Black-Backed (1). No Bonaparte's Gulls were present, though hundreds usually winter in this vicinity. When do they arrive? ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
