On the Island - one Immature Red-headed Woodpecker; an Eastern Phoebe; many sparrows (White-throats, Juncoes, Song, Swamp and White-crowned); both Kinglets; a Brown-headed Nuthatch; a Brown Thrasher; several Northern Harriers and one Common Loon. Black-bellied Plovers were heard calling but were not sighted. The only ducks were Blacks, Mallards, one Ruddy, and one Scaup. The total species count was 51.
