Late this afternoon, two Talbot County residents, Jane and Clark Reed of Trappe, reported seeing two American White Pelicans floating on the Choptank River as the Reeds crossed the Route 50 Choptank River Bridge. The Reeds were coming from Cambridge and heading north towards Trappe. The birds were close to the Talbot County side of the river and were slightly upstream from the bridge.
