It flew out and caught a large butterfly flew back to a tree trunk wedged the insect and began feeding on it . other birds seen Robins , towhees cardinal , Mockingbird , white - throated sparrow , junco , Red - bellied woodpeckers , Downey, Hairy Woodpeckers.
