I got good looks at it, but nothing new popped out at me. Did its little head get grayer and its bill more decurved as I watched? Perhaps. It is definitely doing a lot more tail-flipping while it feeds than I am used to seeing in our DC area hummingbirds. Its presence today suggests it may be here over the weekend. May I suggest you stop by for a look, and also stop in at the A&I Building for a refreshing coffee and a peek at the art exhibits! The building will be closed in January (to the public, that is. Employees will remain, perhaps after being issued hardhats.)
