Are there any interesting > gulls there? I just got back from there. The water was very high with all the generators running and 9 flood gates open so there are no rocks for the gulls to sit on. There were about a dozen Great Black-backed Gulls on the wall and a few Ringed-billed Gulls flying around and that was it. Also saw about 12-15 Bald Eagles, an immature Black-crowned Night-Heron, a few DC Cormorants and many Great Blue Herons. The parking area is open as long as the terror threat level doesn't go to orange but you can't get close to the dam or go on the catwalk at any time.
