A few minutes later, while returning to the firehouse, I was greeted by a Cooper's Hawk flying amoung the trees. While following the Cooper's along the road I ran into a VERY LARGE grackle flock. At the end of the flock I found good numbers of Eastern Bluebirds, House Finches and two male PURPLE FINCHES... Mission accomplished! Also I neglected to mention in my earier post on Cecil Waterfowl that amoung the previosly mentioned birds where about 50 Northern Shovelers!
