Subject:      Pooles Island

While kayaking near Aberdeen Proving Ground (and wisely heeding the "NO
TRESPASSSING - UNEXPLODED ORDNANCE" signs) on 11/23, friends and I
circumnavigated Pooles Island.  We saw at least two Bald Eagles, a Sharp-
shin, two Red-tails, a few Great Blue Herons (and at least 100 heron
nests), and about 25 Buffleheads.  And LOTS of deer.
