        Twelve Talbot County Birders visited CBEC (Horsehead) on 11/23.  Fog
was pretty heavy for the first couple of hours, but lifted later to =
allow
suitable viewing.  Highlights (amongst 52 species seen) included: Great
Horned Owl (fly-by in the woods), Winter Wren, Great Egret, =
Golden-crowned
and Ruby-crowned Kinglets, Brown Creeper, numerous sparrows (Song, =
Swamp,
White-throated, Savannah, Junco and Towhee), Common Loons, Pied-billed
Grebes, Tundra Swan (fly-over), Surf Scoters, Black Ducks, many Ruddy =
Ducks,
several Scaup and a single Canvasback which was first of the season for =
most
of us.
        Trip leaders were Karen and Bill Harris.=20
