I took a few hours to do a little birding to day while at work here at the Edgewood Area of APG. Since it is a holiday all we have to do is watch football today! Total species today was 46 in two hours. Below is a list of the more noteworthy ones: Common Loon (7) RED-THROATED LOON (1) Horned Grebe (2) Red-brested Merganser (3) Ruddy Duck (2) Mute Swan (3) Tundra Swan (4) Bald Eagle (1) Red-tailed Hawk (2) Cooper's Hawk (1) Brown Creeper (1) Cedar Waxwing (30+) Eastern Bluebird (5) RED-HEADED WOODPECKER (1) AMERICAN TREE SPARROW (1)(first for me this fall!) Song Sparrow (2) some strange misses too like Great-blue Heron and House Finch -(oh well). Good birding, Chris Starling North East, MD ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
