I stopped the car and we were able to see 9 American White Pelicans. The birds continued to fly south and we were not able to relocate them. At the time, I would estimate the winds gusting at 30 mph or more. Later in the day I saw two Brown Pelicans at the Ocean City inlet. Also seen at the inlet were all three scoters, three Common Eiders, one Parasitic Jaeger, and a few Northern Gannets. There were also dozens of Forster' terns and two Bonaparte's Gulls.
