I talked with again this afternoon before reading Jim and Marshall?s replys on MDOsprey. Jim said the flycatcher had a bright yellow belly and seemed smaller than other Great-crested Flycatchers. This bird called repeatedly while perched in a small tree near the ventilation building. Jim described the call as ?pip? or ?pip-pip.? He added that the bird seemed very tame - he and two other birders had very good looks at it. Wow! An Ash-throated Flycathcher it will be bird 216 on Jim's fort list. The gates at Fort McHenry will open at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow. Jim and Vince plan to monitor for a couple of hours and will try to relocate the flycatcher at 7:00. Look for Jim along the seawall or on the wetland trail (to the right, thought the maintainence yard.)
