While I was there I was happy to find at least 2 Rusty Blackbirds and 6 or so American Tree Sparrows. There were also 3 Mute Swan, 3 Tundra Swan, and 26 Black Ducks on the gunpowder River. After that I went over to Perryville to check on the waterfowl. As a result of thick ice on Mill Creek all of the ducks were way up in Furnace Bay. Amoung them were 20 Tundra Swan, 6 Canvasbacks, 100+ Hooded Mergansers, and hundreds of Bufflehead, Ring-necked and 100+ Lesser Scaup. Black Duck and bufflehead numbers were high also.
