She asked if there was any source of data which could support her students' non-quantitative observation that there are fewer crows around now. The school (Bell Elementary) is in Rockville and I must say I think there's been a reduction in crows coming to the (famous) Rockville roost but not sure if anyone has done any counts. Is there any hard data or even fairly good observational info? Do any MDospreyers have any figures from either CBCs or other sources which might give some comparison in crow numbers pre- and post-WNV? You can email me privately on this...
