By sheltered I mean that I've never met with other birders before and am finding a need to share the excitement of birding and my "new" discoveries with others. I have been amused and amazed by the red- breasted nuthatch that has been feeding from my feeders daily since Thanksgiving. It is always rewarding to see, not only favorites return after their season away, but also to spot new birds without leaving the house. I too miss the tufted titmouse. We used to have a lot of those but I haven't seen any for a long time. In early November, I saw another new bird (for me) at my feeders, a Black and White Warbler. ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
